UK online retailer confirms stocks of Samsung’s new smartphone for ‘mid-to-late March’.

Clove, a UK-based online retailer for electronic products, has posted a general release date for Samsung’s new Galaxy S II smartphone.

In a blog post, the website writes, “we’ve had word today that the first stock of the Samsung Galaxy S II i9100, both the 16GB & 32GB versions, will be landing mid to late March.” The retailer has, however, offered caution saying “release dates are always subject to change”.

The Samsung Galaxy S II boasts a dual-core 1GHz processor, 4.3″ Super AMOLED Plus display, 1GB of RAM, NFC, an 8MP rear facing camera and a 2MP front facing camera, running all of it on Android 2.3.

If the release window stands true, expect the smartphone to launch in the UAE/Middle East by early to mid-April.
