Nokia plans to keep changes to a minimum so as to keep update delays low

Evidently there’s good reason Nokia decided to go with Microsoft’s Windows 7 instead of Android. Not only do they have the exclusive rights to customize the OS, according to Gizmodo they have the go ahead to customize it however they want- no holds barred.

Nokia however seems to be doing the smart thing and plans on keeping customization to a minimum so as not to hinder pushing out updates to it’s consumers- a problem many Android users complain of. They also don’t want heavy changes ‘baked-in’ to Microsoft’s OS
