It’s good to be cool.

Good: Very cool, Highly overclockable, Great performance even on factory speeds
Bad: Can get loud under stress
Price: AED 1,300

For testing the MSI R6870 Hawk I have used our regular testbed, which consists of an Intel Core i7-2600K, Kingston HyperX T1 4GB DDR3-2200MHz memory, Gigabyte P67A-UD7 motherboard, Kingston V-Series 64GB SSD with Windows 7 Ultimate running on it; all of which is powered by a Cooler Master 1200W Silent Pro Gold PSU. For comparisons I have added the original MSI R6870, the Zotac GTX 560 Ti and the recently reviewed Zotac GTX 560 Ti AMP! Edition.

The DX11 & 9 gaming performance is better on the R6870 Hawk than any other card, but the GTX 560 Ti AMP! Edition takes a clear lead in DX10 games as well as the synthetic benchmarks.
