Motorola goes ‘Pro’ with new Android 2.2 QWERTY device

Motorola Pro will have a 1GHz processor, 2GB internal memory, hotspot.

Motorola today announced a business-oriented smartphone called the Motorola Pro.

The Android 2.2-based phone will feature 2GB of internal memory, 1GHz processor, SD card slot, 3G mobile hotspot, non-slide QWERTY keyboard, Adobe Flash 10.1 support, 5 megapixel with dual LED, and QuickOffice pre-loaded. The phone will also support some additional security features like AuthenTec IPSec multi-headed VPN integration, remote wipe of device and SD card, and complex password support as well as device and SD can encryption.

Motorola Pro is set to arrive in Europe region some time this year, though no specific release window or price have been mentioned. Check out the announcement video below, and the full press release on the next page.
