Watch and record in 3D without glasses.

There are a lot of Super Phones like the Galaxy S II and Motorola Atrix coming out this year. Sharing almost similar specs, it becomes hard for companies to distinguish their specs but LG has done just that with their LG Optimus 3D.

Its the only Smartphone at the moment that not only offers a glasses-free 3D screen but also 3D capable recording for videos and taking pictures. Add to that the dual core, dual channel, dual memory interface – the three Ds and you have one of the fastest Android Samrtphones for the first half of this year. We managed to get some video of its 3D capabilities.

You obviously can’t tell much from the video above but in real life, I can say that it works. Not necessarily as well as you would like it to as there really are certain angles and distances within which you should be looking at the device to get the 3D effect. But that is alright as it doesn’t stop the device from having the cool and wow factor.

Specs for the LG Optimus 3D include a 4.3″ 800×480 pixels scream with two 8MP cameras on the back along with 1GHz dual core Tegra 2 CPU. No idea on pricing but it should be available around May of this year.
