The stylish Jabra Stone gets better.
Performance and Issues:
While everything else about the Stone 2 is simply outstanding, the performance is below par. Voice quality isn’t very good and we think the Stone 2 could certainly have used a slightly louder speaker. Sometimes, it’s hard to hear what the other person is saying even when you have the volume turned all the way up. While not the best sound quality we’ve seen from a Bluetooth headset, it certainly wasn’t so poor that we’d stop using the device altogether.
Another bit of niggle is the fact that the headphones only fit in the right ear. However, in terms of an actual fit, it’s a lot more comfy than the original Stone and doesn’t slip off the ear as easily as its predecessor either.
A worthy successor to the Stone. Looks gorgeous, has a good range of features and some brilliant voice controls. Sadly the device is let down by sound quality. A great phone for the style conscious but not for those who demand the best performance.
