HTC updates Android lineup, introduces Incredible S, Desire S and Wildfire S

The new ‘S’ series smartphones will launch globally in early Q2 2011.

HTC is on a roll today, unveiling three new smartphones in their ‘S’ series Android lineup.

HTC’s ‘flagship device’, the Incredible S will sport a 4″ screen at a standard 800×480 resolution, Android 2.2, 8MP camera with dual LED flash, autofocus and 720p HD recording, 1.3 MP front facing camera, and will be powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm processor running on a 1450mAH battery.

The HTC Desire S is much like the Desire but with a new aluminum unibody shell. It will have similar specifications but now with a Snapdragon MSM8255 powering things. It will also have a front facing 1.3 MP camera, 768 of RAM, and a 1450mAH batter. It will feature Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

And lastly, the HTC Wildfire S will be the low-end offering from the manufacturer, sporting a HVGA screen and new colorful appearance. It also come pre-loaded with Gingerbread.

HTC should be rolling them from early Q2 2011.
