HP TouchPad, Pre 3 and Veer announced at HP’s event.

HP has announced a slew of new gadgets at their ‘Think Beyond’ event held today. The company aims to bring the much awaited webOS platform into the market with the newly introduced HP TouchPad, HP Pre 3 and HP Veer smartphones.

The HP TouchPad will be the first tablet with the webOS and will sport a 9.7″ XGA capacitive multi-touch screen with resolution of 1024×768. It will also feature a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front, and will come in 16GB or 32GB flavor. The tablet will be powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, which the company claims is “screaming fast.”

The Pre 3 smartphone will ship two versions: HSPA+ and EVDO based service. Both of the set will feature a Qualcomm 1.4GHz processor and a slide out hardware keyboard.

And finally, the Veer, a Hindi word meaning ‘brave’ will flex it’s muscles on a 2.6″ touchscreen powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor. It will be fully compatible with HSPA+ and will ship with 8GB of storage.

The devices are due this Summer in the U.S, although no pricing have been announced.
