Coming right after the world’s end.
Reliable information agent Wzor.net has posted a slew of information regarding the release of Windows 8, and Window 7 SP2.
For Windows 7, Wzor states that “ervice Pack 2 is already actively underway since the autumn of 2010, and if all goes according to plan then the appearance of a second service pack, Service Pack 2 for Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 is expected in mid-2012.”
For Windows 8, Wzor states the next edition of Windows is scheduled for end of 2012, “so it really can be called: Microsoft Windows 2012 Apocalypse Edition”.
However, for the actual consumer release of Windows 8, the site was forthcoming with an exact date, “according to our information, Microsoft will plan to begin selling boxed retail versions of Microsoft Windows on Monday January 7, 2013!”
That is, of course, if the world survives.
