Popular VOIP service reaches 27 million users.

Global outage? What global outage? Skype announced via Twitter that the worldwide popular VOIP service has reached over 27 million active users.

This comes as good news for the company who suffered a major global outage of their service last year, which according to CEO Tony Bates cost nearly 10 million calls. As compensation, the company had offered $1 credit to every user.
