Apple may introduce Google Latittude-esque service.
I think I have typed the word ‘iPad’ more than any other word I have in this past week. The iOS 4.3 beta, more than having us excited over its new features, has seen coders dig out plethora of information about the upcoming iterations of the iPad and iPhone.
The newest one being from 9to5Mac, whose tipster has apparently discovered graphics that almost confirms that the iPad 2 will have a camera capable of both still and video captures.
Interestingly, the resolution of the graphics is 1024×768 – the same resolution of the current iPad screen – which is a far cry from what recent rumors suggesting a higher resolution display on the tablet.
MacRumors have also been doing their part of the digging, and have found a ‘Find My Friends’ feature that could make it into the next OS update. While details are sparse, the name of the application suggests that it could be a Google Latittude-like service that helps users find their friend’s location by tagging them on Google Maps.
