Microsoft nears final build of its upcoming awaited browser.
Usually, release candidates of a software is celebrated on Internet forums, Twitter and Facebook, but Microsoft is different – and that’s because they got the money to roll out. Microsoft has sent invites to media sites to join in on the launch event of the first release candidate for its upcoming browser Internet Explorer 9.
The invite read, “Members from the Internet Explorer team (and some special guests) will be visiting San Francisco in two weeks to share some important news. I know it’s an extremely busy news week already, but we’re hoping you can join us.”
Internet Explorer 9 will feature a fresh look and bout of features that Microsoft hopes will hold enough fire power to compete against Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. Will IE9 be able to recapture its lost pie on the browser market? We shall soon find out.
