HP’s webOS tablet will run a 1.2Ghz processor on two 3,150 mAh battery.
HP’s webOS tablet, named Topaz has been detailed prior to the company’s Feb 9 event. The Topaz was first seen earlier this month, but new leaked slides offer plenty of specs and details about the upcoming tablet.
HP Topaz will be a webOS powered slate (as HP likes to call them) and will sport a 9.7″ 1024×768 oil and scratch-resistant display, a 1,2GHz processor, an Adreno 220 graphics processor, 512MB of DDR 2 RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, a front-facing camera for video chat, integrated Beats audio, and two 3,150 mAh batteries that should power up the device for at least 8 hours. The Topaz will first be launched in WiFi flavor only, but will soon be joined by 3G and 4G varieties.
The slate is also rumored to feature HP’s Touchstone technology. Other than charging, the Touchstone on the slate will be able to share files and images, stream multimedia content, feature wireless printing, integrated cloud services and even “wireless video game playing via Touchstone video dock.” Check out the slides below.
