HP may very well showcase the webOS on notebooks along with slates and smartphones at their special event next month.

Training videos on HP webOS Central suggests that ‘in the future’ HP’s operating system will be able to communicate between notebooks, tablets (or slates as HP calls them) and smartphones, providing a glimpse at the possibilities pertaining to the event.

The site carries video guides for store salespersons, including a series of webOS 10X training videos. The webOS 101 introduces us to the Palm devices and what ticks the webOS, and goes on to talk about a future webOS product ecosystem where smartphone, tablet, and notebook all run webOS and share information as a ‘friendly little product family.” Cute.

webOS 105 shows the salesperson how to actually demonstrate the webOS to a potential customer. Lessons are up to show off the Just Type feature with quick actions and customer search engines. Several one-sheet explainers are also available to trainees to help them sum up Synergy, Just Type, ‘true-multitasking’, and webOS 2.0.
