Toshiba’s new screen displays 3D in 3D

Tilts image and viewing angle according to the screen.

Glasses-free 3D displays are cool, but it’s limited viewing angles makes it quite pointless. You would have to be seated somewhere near the middle to experience the full 3D experience. Knowing the limitation, Toshiba has worked on a new display that not only rectifies this little problem but also has the image title and rotate as the screen does.

Dig Info TV got a hands-on video that shows a 12.1″ Toshiba tablet that tilts and adjusts the view angles as the tablet is moved, enabling users to maintain the 3D image, without glasses. It also uses an advanced software algorithm that pictures a 360 degree image of an object, so you view can ‘around’ the object when you tilt the screen. It’s like 3D in 3D. While we are tempted to make an Xzibit meme, we shall refrain, instead check out the hands-on video below.
