Bassem Bouzid to handle the reins.
HP today announced that Bassem Bouzid has been appointed to the position of regional vice president and general manager for HP Enterprise Services for the Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa (MEMA) region, with immediate effect. In this role, Bassem will provide leadership for HP’s Enterprise Services business in the region while building close customer relationships to create best-in-class client experience. In his new role, he will be responsible for Greece, Turkey, Middle-East and all of Africa.

Bassem’s appointment is a clear demonstration of HP’s strategic focus to develop its Enterprise Services business in this important growth region and to become the recognised leader in services.
Prior to this role, Bassem was sales vice president for the Energy and Distribution Industry (EDI) within HP Enterprise Business, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). During his time in this role, Bassem drove sales for all business units, establishing HP as the technology transformation partner for Energy and Transportation & Logistics clients in EMEA. Under his leadership, HP established a pre-eminent position through major outsourcing wins and positioned HP in a leading position in the oil & gas sector as well as in utilities.
Bassem’s focus will be on growing the IT outsourcing and application services business throughout the region focusing on the Energy, Financial Services and Telecommunication sectors as well as on Digital Health solutions.
