“Now with more ways to show and tell your story.”
One of the many visual upgrades of the new Facebook redesigning, which has been rolled out today, is the new Profile page, bringing a lot of changes to how information is displayed.
Users can immediately enable the new Profile page by going here, but do take note that the change is irreversible. The new profile introduces a tagged photo-bar, sorts out your friends list by ‘friends’, ‘family’, ‘co-workers’, etc, gives “new ways to share experiences”, etc.
While there has been many tiny visual updates since the past few months, the Profile page overhaul is the largest, and as usual seems to be getting a lot of hate from users.
Personally, the update profile page reminds me too much of Google’s own social networking site Orkut which also has a similar look and feel to it.
