All major bugs sorted out.
Previously set to release on November 30, 3DMark 11′s release suffered a delay when FutureMark decided to pull it off to “fix a couple of difficult bugs rather than patch the benchmark immediately after launch.”
But thankfully the delay wasn’t much for long as FutureMark today confirmed the new release date for its awaited DirectX 11 benchmark tool: Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 14:00 UTC, that’s 5.00PM UAE time. The announcement says that “all major issues causing the delay” has been sorted out and that the product has gone gold.
3DMark 11 will make “extensive use of all the new features in DirectX 11 including tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading. Trusted by gamers worldwide to give accurate and unbiased results, 3DMark 11 is the best way to consistently and reliably test DirectX 11 under game-like loads.”
Stay tuned for our detailed benchmarks and reports on Tuesday!
