The two social network giants announces new partnership.
Ouch – as should be your first reaction if you have been following the battle for the social networking dominance. MySpace and Facebook has entered in a new partnership that will allow new users to register at MySpace by using their Facebook account.
Myspace now allows registering with your Facebook account.
This was announced a in very short press conference held last week. The login was spotted earlier on the week but the feature wasn’t entirely functional. Present at the conference was MySpace CEO Mike Jones, and Facebook vice president Dan Rose (looks like Zuckerberg gave it a miss. Ouch.)
BusinessInsider has posted the entire seven minute conference, plus the short Q & A session.
It would be interesting to note if the new move will infuse some life into the social media site as it continues its way down, costing million to News Corp to keep the failing site alive.
