Asus’s new U31 and U41 Notebooks offers a size and performance combination.

Press release:
ASUS today has announced the latest models in its award winning U Series of notebooks, the U31 and U41. Continuing in the footsteps of their predecessors, the U31 and U41 models are equipped with the latest Intel® Core™ i5/i3 processors, yet remain stylish and lightweight. Enhanced with Super Hybrid Engine technology for up to a 15% performance increase* and an NVIDIA® processor* which supports DirectX©11, they are designed less than an inch thick for maximum portability without compromising on power for the best computing experience.

Supercharged Performance

U31 and U41 notebooks are powered by Intel® Core™ i5 or i3 processors and further boosted by ASUS’ Super Hybrid Engine (SHE) technology. Extra processing power is just one click away with Extra Performance Boost mode, which overclocks the CPU for a performance increase of up to 15%*. For graphics power, the notebooks sport an NVIDIA® GeForce® GPU, which supports DirectX© 11 for an enhanced multimedia experience.

Extended Battery Life

With today’s super fast pace of work and life, a notebook that can keep up with the needs of urban professionals is essential. With that in mind, the U31 and U41 feature two incredible energy-optimizing technologies that work in unison to help extend battery life to over 10 hours*. Super Hybrid Engine works to intelligently reduce notebook power consumption when performing less demanding tasks, while NVIDIA® Optimus™ technology auto-switches between the dedicated GeForce GT425M/GT415M graphics and the integrated GPU to meet the demands of graphics being rendered, ensuring that battery power is not wasted.

Ultra Slim Design

The U31 and U41 series notebooks feature an elegant design that measures less than an inch thick and is light weight for maximum portability, without sacrificing performance. Brandishing an eye catching brushed aluminum LCD lid and a choice of black or silver finishes, the U31 and U41 are rugged enough to handle daily trips to the office, yet slip easily into a bag or briefcase for easy transportation.
