v4.2.1 Golden Master made available to developers.

Apple has released another, supposedly final, iOS build to developers, namely v4.2.1.

There isn’t much information about what the new build contains but according to MacRumors developers were advised not to resubmit their apps, suggesting there are no major changes to the new build.

This is the third build released by Apple – the first one that was suppose to be the final build was pushed down due to a WiFi bug which was subsequently fixed in the second update.

While the new iOS may not leave iPhone users excited, iPad users have all the reasons to await it. The new update will finally bring the iPad upto date with all the features iPhone 4 and iPod Touch users have been enjoying. There is no solid date for the final release.
