Windows Phone 7 day- LG jumps the gun with Optimus 7!

LG let slip their Windows Phone 7 device on their UK website a few hours early.

Windows Phone 7 will be officially launched by Microsoft today in New York City at 5:30 PM Dubai time. Although there have been many leaks on devices with this new OS, LG let slip their device on their UK site a few hours early. It has now been pulled from their website but say hello to LG Optimus 7

The LG Optimus 7 features a 3.8-inch touchscreen with WVGA (800 x 480) resolution, 16GB of onboard storage, a 5 megapixel camera with a 720p video mode, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi and a digital compass. You usual bunch of sensors are also included such as the proximity and light sensor. Interestingly, DLNA streaming functionality called Play-to will also be present allowing you to stream audio and video from your network. Also exclusive to LG’s phones will be the Voice-to-Text and Scansearch, the former being a message transcriber and the latter acting as an augmented reality real-time search service.

Microsoft will be showcasing Windows Phone 7 at GITEX.
