Microsoft will offer a special student Xbox package as well.
The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), organiser of GITEX Shopper, the largest consumer IT and electronics show in the Middle East, announced today that students will receive 60% off entry tickets to the exhibition if they pre-book for a group of 50 or more. The price for a regular entry ticket is AED 25, but school and university students will pay just AED 10 each.
Student groups taking advantage of the low entry prices can visit the show between 11am – 2pm – every day except Friday – if they pre-book for their group of 50 or more people. Group bookings for students can be prearranged by their educational institution’s management. Enquiries regarding this can be sent to GITEX Shopper’s management team at email@example.com. Student groups should be accompanied by the institution’s staff members.
Visiting the biggest ever sales bonanza for Middle East consumers, students can benefit from a special offer presented by Microsoft in collaboration with GITEX Shopper. Students purchasing the new Xbox 360 250 GB console that will be launched at GITEX Shopper will also get a Limited Edition Kinect branded 2GB USB band.
“GITEX Shopper is always a popular event for students looking for great deals on the latest gaming consoles, laptops and personal electronics. This year students can take advantage of the low entry price of just AED 10 and choose from a huge range of the latest lightweight laptops to iPods, mobile phones, printers and electronic beauty gadgets,” said Trixee Loh, Senior Vice President, DWTC.
