HP’s Gitex Shopper lineup covers its notebook range

HP expands updated consumer notebook PC portfolio.

HP is going out in full force at the Gitex Shopper 2010, which started today. If you manage to find parking, you can have a look at HP’s range of notebooks that seems to cater to multiple audiences. Here is their entire lineup in detail:

HP Pavillion notebook PCs:

The HP Pavilion dv6

  • With exterior bold finishes and touchable textures, the HP Pavilion dv6 is designed to suit every consumer’s personal style. Available in your choice of black cherry, champagne, Sonoma red and shell white Imprint finishes, plus a brushed-aluminium finish etched with a stream design.
  • The dv6 features an LED display, HP SimplePass, providing consumers enhanced security access to all their passwords with a simple swipe of a finger.
  • The HP dv6 also includes exclusive technology such as HP TrueVision WebCam, which optimizes video for any light setting, and HP QuickWeb, which gives users access to the web without booting up the notebook by simply pushing a button.

The HP Pavilion dv3

  • Available in black cherry, champagne and brushed metal the Hp Pavilion dv3 weighs 4.35 pounds and is built for maximum performance and an on-the-go lifestyle.
  • The notebook offers a 13.3-inch diagonal LED BrightView backlit display and a built-in optical drive and is based on the AMD Turion™ Ultra X2 notebook platform.
  • In addition, the dv3 provides powerful entertainment options, including advanced graphics and video for a true HD experience, a slot-loading SuperMulti DVD player, 5-in-1 media card reader for quickly transferring photos, an HP Mobile Remote control, SRS Premium Sound™ for optimal audio performance.
  • Optional features include solid state drive for faster boot up time and lighter weight and a backlight keyboard for working in low light.

HP Envy14 Beats Edition:
This premium edition notebook includes Beats Audio, a unique, high-performance technology developed by HP and Beats by Dr. Dreto provide the optimal sound experience – the way the artist intended it – when playing music or audio through headphones or external speakers. To enhance this premium sound experience, HP has included a set of Beats Solo Headphones from Monster with ControlTalk, with each HP ENVY14 Beats Edition. These have an advanced driver design for precise audio clarity.

To take advantage of its powerful performance and entertainment capabilities, the HP ENVY14 Beats Edition includes Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 and Adobe Premiere Elements 8 software for photo and video editing on select models. Equipped with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics card with 1GB of dedicated memory, a HP BrightView Infinity LED Display and HP TrueVision HD Webcam means it’s ideal for creating or consuming music, film and photography content.

HP Mini notebook PCs:

HP Mini 210

The HP Mini 210 is the ideal companion PC for the mobile consumer, providing all-day computing in an ultra-portable and stylish design.

Created for consumers who surf the web, check email, listen to music, and need access to friends, family or information while on the go, the Mini 210 includes built-in WLAN(5) , webcam, microphone and a nearly full-sized, island-style keyboard. It also is offered with the Intel’s latest Atom processors with DDR3 memory support.

Less than 3 cm thin and weighing 1.46 kg, the Mini 210 comes standard  with an inline six-cell battery that provides up to 10.5 hours of battery life and fits flush, complementing the overall design.

HP Mini 110

The Mini 110 is small enough to slip into most purses, backpacks or briefcases, starting at 2.33 pounds and measuring just over 1-inch thick. With a 10.1-inch diagonal standard or optional high-definition LED widescreen display, a keyboard that is 92 percent the size of a standard notebook PC keyboard, and a built-in webcam and microphone, the new HP Mini 110 is designed for consumers and business professionals who surf the web, check email, listen to music and need access to friends, family, co-workers or information while on the go.

Powered by either an Intel Atom processor N270 with 1.6-gigahertz (GHz) or an Intel Atom processor N280 at 1.66-GHz, the HP Mini 110 offers configure-to-order options on a number of its features.
