Asus to showcase SonicMaster at Gitex 2010

Unveiling the ultimate personal computing experience to customers in the Middle East, Asus will showcase its SonicMaster technology and the latest series of laptops and desktops at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2010.

Visitors to the exhibition will be able to engage and test the new products from Asus at the “SonicMaster Experience Zone”.

The exclusive booth located at Shaikh Saeed Hall, S-123, at DWTC is designed to let visitors experience the superior features of SonicMaster technology, which has reinvented the way audio is experienced on notebooks.

Innovative notebook technology on display

The new N Series from ASUS encompasses a full range of notebook PCs that are the first ever to address compromised multimedia capabilities on portable computers. The models are available in 14, 15.6 and 17.3 inch screen sizes, and ship with Intel® Core™ i3, i5 and i7 processors. N Series notebooks feature the exclusive SonicMaster technology that has been co-developed with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower®.

Another breakthrough in technology, the ASUS NX90 is an all-in-one multimedia center. It features top-of-the-line components that aim to provide users with the smoothest computing experience possible. Powered by the latest Intel® Core™ i7 processor and equipped with lightning-fast USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, the NX90 is guaranteed to deliver extreme speed both in terms of computing and data transfers. The NX90 notebook was co-designed by master designer David Lewis, known the world over as the main force behind the trademark Bang & Olufsen look.

In the desktop segment, visitors can learn more about the ASUS All-in-one PC ET2400 desktop computers that effectively combine the computing capabilities of the Super Hybrid Engine and the audio prowess of the ASUS SonicMaster Technology with a 23.6-inch Full HD widescreen.

ASUS will also display some of its leading notebook editions at the Novotel Hotel during the week long exhibition. In addition to the above mentioned products, the Eee PC 1015PEM Dual Core, Vx6 Lamborghini edition, Eee PC 1008P Seashell netbook will be the focus models that will make an appearance at the Asus stall in Novotel.

The Eee PC™ 1015PEM is the latest Intel® Atom™ N550 dual core processor with cloud computing capabilities. This processor gives the 1015PEM a level of performance that surpasses other Atom-based netbooks available today. The 10.1-inch Eee PC™ 1015PEM is the first netbook to feature the N550 dual core processor and comes in a variety of colors such as silky red, midnight blue, glossy pink and black or white in matt or glossy finishes.

Furthermore, catering to customers who want their notebooks to embody premium design, luxury and performance, Asus will introduce the Vx6 Lamborghini edition. With a tasteful design, the new netbook fields powerful NVIDIA® ION™ graphics and dual-core Intel® Atom™ D525 processing, audio by Bang & Olufsen ICEpower®, and the super-fast USB 3.0 standard.

The Eee PC 1008P Seashell netbook, designed by Karim Rashid, one of the top Arab designers in the world, will be another showcase from the Eee PC portfolio. The designer collection is crafted with focus on vision and touch senses that presents the product in a chic and stylish way.  It is available in two eye-catching shades of Hot Pink and Coffee Brown colors.
