The Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 USB flash drive takes advantage of faster transfer rates  allowing users of USB 3.0 compatible host systems to transfer data up to ten times faster than USB 2.0.

Kingston’s DataTravelerâ Ultimate 3.0 features the latest technology for USB Flash drives, making it ideal for early adopters who want to take advantage of all the performance improvements offered by USB 3.0 right away. This compact drive is the perfect solution for easily storing and quickly transferring all documents, hi-res photos, music, games, HD video, and more.

USB 3.0 offers the same ease-of-use and plug and play capabilities as previous generations of USB technologies but with a performance increase and better power management. The Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 drive is backwards compatible with USB 2.0, the drives comes with a USB 2.0 Y-cable as some USB 2.0 ports may require a Y-cable to initialize a USB 3.0 drive.The Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 has a read speed of 80MB/sec., and a write speed of 60MB/sec and is available in 16, 32 and 64GB capacities.

Similarly, a 2 hour 23 minute DVD (4.4GB) transferred to the drive at a fast 1 minute 23 seconds”.
