Default contact photo uses Microsoft founder’s ‘arrested’ picture.
We have all seen Bill Gates’ picture from his younger days when he was arrested for speeding, right? Apparently, that has found its way, rather humorously, in Outlook 2010.
You see, Outlook 2010′s new feature, People Pane, gives access to an overview of the person emailing the user which lists information such as appointments, recent e-mails, and a picture of the sender. The Outlook Social Connector feature connects to sites like Facebook and populates the contact with new information taken from the social networking site. Now, if the contact doesn’t have a picture associated with it, as like any other software, it uses a blank silhouette as the default image.
According to ArsTechnica, the silhouette is of actually a real person and it belongs to none other than Microsoft founder Bill Gates. The following image should explain it all.
It’s not clear who played the part in this humorous inclusion, but props to Microsoft for having some tongue-in-cheek.
