New tool from Microsoft allows users to share large images efficiently and professionally.

Sharing large web images is always a clunky business. And to maintain uniformity in look is another horror story. With an increasing need to share larger and large images, Microsoft has sought to offer a solution in the form of Zoom.it, a new tool that allows you to share high resolution web images  easily and quickly.

Click to check it out (Silverlight required).

This is how it works: Zoom.it will take any URL and covert it into a high resolution image using Silverlight’s deep zoom format. With simple mouse drags and the scroll wheel users will be able to move and zoom around the image effortlessly. Zoom.it is created with Seadragon, the zooming technology acquired by Microsoft in 2006.
