Microsoft will unveil the first beta of its new browser in a launch event in San Francisco.
This should be done a long time ago, but we finally have it coming. Microsoft will soon be launching the first beta for Internet Explorer 9 next month in a launch event in San Francisco.
The event will held on September 15th and mark the availability of Microsoft’s much touted new browser. The download will be available for users with Windows Vista or Windows 7 only (sorry, WinXP folks, no IE9 goodies for you…but you should upgrade you know?).
With a completely new rendering engine, solid web standard backing and plethora of new features, it will be interesting to see how IE9 takes up against the likes of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera.
Users interested in trying out IE9 platform preview builds can do so here.
