Customers will get 200MB free data for 6months with purchase of the Nokia phones.

du and Nokia have partnered up to provide free monthly data package to two Nokia smartphones, giving users access to email, Internet, IM and social networking sites.

The offer is valid with the purchase of Nokia E5, the latest edition to the popular E-series line of smartphones, or a Nokia E72. The data plan will provide free 200MB monthly data package for six months, and is applicable to new or existing subscribers. The offer is valid for a limited time period only.

“People today are leading increasingly mobile lifestyles, and often the most convenient method of communication – particularly for our culturally diverse customer base – is via email, chat and social networking sites. We are committed to keeping up with our customers’ needs and requirements, and are therefore pleased to offer our Elite subscribers this state-of-the-art smartphone along with a free 200 MB data package for six months to access a variety of  messaging services, meaning they can stay connected whenever and wherever they may be,” commented Farid Faraidooni, chief commercial officer, du.

The Symbian-based Nokia E5 packs in a full QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera, A-GPS and free lifetime navigation service and access to Ovi Store. The smartphone is available for AED 899.
