Grey markets expected to sell immediately after launch; no confirmations from Etisalat, Du.
According to a report from Business24-7, Apple ‘s new iPhone 4 will be available in the UAE a month after it’s official release on June 24th.
Recently, Apple announced that the new iPhone will be available in 18 other countries in July and 24 more by August. Apple’s official retailers in Dubai expect the new smartphone to hit UAE stores a month after its release; the grey markets are expected to sell it immediately after launch, as usual, with a high price tag.
In another report from Gulf News, Etisalat and du, the only two teclom providers in the country, do not know when they will be able to offer the iPhone 4. “We don’t have any information about it. We haven’t talked to Apple yet about it, they have just released it,” an Etisalat spokesperson said.
Well, sir, what are you waiting for?
