Apple pre-order system fails following attack of the fanboys.

Apple’s latest mobile device, the iPhone 4, was put up for pre-sale today on Apple’s Online Store. But unsurprisingly, it was quickly brought down by fans clambering to get their pre-order done. According to TechCrunch, most people are unable to get past the first step of entering their existing AT&T information when the system just simply times out.

However, it appears that if you order through AT&T’s website, you may be able to land a pre-order for yourself but with only a deliver-to-your-door option, and no in-store pick up option.
