Etisalat’s new iPhone app is freely available to customers through Apple’s iTunes.
To enhance its interaction with customers and to create new channels of communication with them, Etisalat today released a new iPhone app in the UAE that can be downloaded free of charge from the Apple store.
The new application integrates convenient features to provide individuals as well as business customers in the UAE complete information on Etisalat’s latest products, services and offers in mobile, fixed line, Internet, data and entertainment. To simplify customer experience, there is also a locator that they can use to search Etisalat Service Centers and payment machines nearby.
The app is available for customers to download through iTunes, or directly from their iPhone devices through App Store, with a wi-fi connection on iPhone OS 3.1.3.
Khalifa Al Shamsi, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Etisalat said, “This introduction aims to enhance our customer service as it provides detailed information about Etisalat’s bouquet of products and services on an easy, user-friendly interface. In addition, there is a built-in locator that guides our customers to the closest business center to them, through a map or by listing down the various locations, whichever is convenient and required by the customer.”
This app will be further developed on an ongoing basis at a later stage in order to include many new services like mobile payment and so on.
Al Shamsi invited all the customers to experience this app and give their feedback and suggestions through the app itself or through other social networking Etisalat channels such as Twitter and Facebook. “With this, Etisalat has become one of the first operators in the region to provide an application of this nature and has added it to the current choice of apps available to Etisalat customers, for example the Yellow Pages iPhone app that was launched a year ago.”
