Windows 7 SP1 Beta Leaks

Windows 7′s upcoming service pack leaks onto file sharing websites.

An early build of Windows 7 SP 1 Beta has leaked to file sharing websites this week, according to GeekSmack.

The build, 6.1.7601.16537.amd64fre.win7.100327-0053, appears to be a recent compile from March 27. GeekSmack reports that the beta build’s installation is pretty quick compared to service packs for Vista. However, it is not clear if the build includes the promised USB 3.0 support or enchanced Bluetooth and Wi-fi stacks.

Microsoft is currently readying the first Service Pack for Windows 7, with an official beta expected in June.
