Twitter reveals big numbers at the Chirp conference; says its adding 300K users per day.
At the Chirp developer conference yesterday, Twitter’s co-founder Biz Stone revealed that the popular micro-blogging site currently holds 105 million registered users. Well, 105,779,710 to be exact. In comparison, however, Facebook boasts over 400 million users, that’s about four times than that of Twitter.

Stone also revealed that the site handles about 600 million search request per day, or 19 billion search requests per month (Google has about 90 billion search requests). He also added that about 300,000 users sign up to be a tweeter every day. No comparison for that was given, heh.
