LG Launches The W46 Series LCD Monitors

Versatile and smartly designed, the new W46 monitors offer the perfect workplace solution for everything from the smallest to the largest business.

Ergonomic, Flexible Design
Combining a narrow bezel – 19mm wide on the bottom edge; 15.5mm wide elsewhere with a simple, square-shaped head design and a small yet durable base, the W46 series fits right into almost any space. The W46PM models also boast an ergonomic design, with the option of a durable height-and-pivot stand that allows for greater movement of the screen even in tighter spaces. In addition, the speakers on the chic SM and PM classes of W46 monitors – including the W1946SM and W2246PM models – are tucked in behind the screen, also making for a more spacious and convenient work space.

Enhancing working efficiency
With Microsoft certifying the W46 series – excluding the W46S class – compatible with its new Windows 7 OS, W46 monitors have an optimum ratio of 16:9 that enables a split screen use, allowing users to work on Microsoft Office even more efficiently. Thanks to a convenient and intuitive on-screen display, the W46 series also provides the simplest access with practically no need for manual adjustments to enjoy the full range of monitor functions. In addition, the monitors’ excellent picture quality significantly reduces stress on the eyes. And with its base specially designed to store stationery, the W46 helps users keep their desks uncluttered, clean and convenient to use.

Economical Solutions for Any Office
Offering genuine savings in energy consumption, LG’s W46 series monitors are available at a range of prices depending on such options as screen size, monitor height and speakers. By reducing the number of back-screen lamps from four to two, the W46 series also considerably reduces power consumption, allowing for energy savings of up to 30 percent compared with conventional monitors. However, this eco-friendly feature doesn’t come at the expense of screen brightness, which is perfectly maintained thanks to an enhanced prism sheet.
