Get a hold of the first ‘wired’ Bluetooth headset.

Press release:
The new Jabra CLIPPER Bluetooth® mono/stereo headset is now available in the Middle East, offering a unique combination of discreet clip-on cool and clean European design.  Developed by GN Netcom, a world leader in innovative headset solutions, the easy-to-use device is bundled with additional noise-blocking stereo earphones, enabling you to listen to your favorite tunes and take calls while on the go.

Ahmed Elkalliny, Area Director, Middle East and Africa, Mobile Division, GN Netcom said, “The new Jabra CLIPPER is specially designed with Middle Eastern tastes and preferences in mind. The headset clips securely and discreetly on to all types of clothing and utilizes the wired configuration preferred by many users in the region. We’re extremely excited to launch our first wired headset and are adding the stereo earphones to the pack for those consumers who like to enjoy music on the go.

“The new Jabra CLIPPER caters to the tastes of all users, as it is also provided with the mono earphone for busy people on the go.  Thanks to Multiuse™ technology, it can wirelessly connect to two different devices at the same time, such as a mobile and other Bluetooth enabled device. Any incoming call will override any music track being played, so there’s no need to switch between devices. As well as offering great sound quality, its smooth styling and minimalistic controls give it the coolness and functionality to set you apart from the crowd.”

The Jabra CLIPPER offers the best of both worlds in more than one respect: while Multiuse™ technology brings maximum convenience, the two connected devices can be kept away from the headset even when in use, in a pocket or bag for example.

It is not only tastes the Jabra CLIPPER fits perfectly with; certification to two of the world’s toughest standards make it able to stand up to the rigors of the region’s demanding climates. The Jabra CLIPPER is certified IP44 Dust & Water resistant, and meets the stringent US Military Standards of Rain & Shock resistance (US MIL-STD 810F Rain & Shock).

The Jabra CLIPPER is compatible with any device with Bluetooth wireless technology (2.1 incl. EDR, A2DP and AVRCP) including the Apple iPhone and iPod touch and has the ability to connect to two different devices at the same time thanks to Multiuse™ technology. One can even connect it to the PC and listen to music. The Jabra CLIPPER is packaged with noise-blocking in-ear buds and can be used with any 3.5mm earphones or headphones. At the touch of one multi function button it becomes seamless to pause, skip tracks or alter the volume. A warning signal is given if one starts to head out of range (within 10 m).
