iPod Touch Prototypes on eBay

iPod Touch with Camera auctioned on eBay, then pulled.

Is it the Apple Leak Month or something we don’t know about? With last week’s hoopla about the leaked iPhone HD/4.0, we now have one eBay user auctioning off iPod Touch prototypes. The auction sold iPod Touch prototypes which had cameras and a ‘switchboard’ OS running on it. The prototypes were marked with ‘DVT-1′ and ‘DVT-2′ (DVT stands for “design verification test”), while the DVT-2 had an extra bar code label stamped by ‘Apple Development Team’.

Of course, the auction was pulled as quickly as Apple could muster but they were no match for the quick-guns at 9to5mac who safely managed to store all of the images from the listing.
