Search and view your iPhone apps straight from Facebook.

You can now access the Apple App Store directly from within Facebook, via Apple and Virtue’s latest Facebook application. The  Facebook app allows users to search, view and follow the latest iPhone applications.

The new app store page features the following tabs (other than the proverbial ‘Wall’ and ‘Info’ tabs):

- The ‘Featured‘ tab, highlights from the App Store, such as “App Store Essentials,” “App of the Week”  and Top Charts listing the most downloaded apps.

- The ‘Games‘ tab, showcases featured games and Top Charts specifically for Games.

- The ‘Search & Share‘ tab, allows fans to search for their favorite apps (via the App Store API) and share them with their friends without ever leaving Facebook.

Virtue promises to load the App Store application with more advanced features in the coming months making it easier for fans to “sort through the virtual mountain of apps and easily discover what their friends like.”
