Read and write NTFS volumes with Mac OS x

Mac OS X may be an operating system without built-in support for writing to NTFS (the file system in Windows). For example, if you have installed Boot Camp and Windows on your Mac you have a partition to which you cannot write. You can copy files from your Boot Camp drive but not copy to it.
So what to do?
The solution is simple and free. You download MacFuse and MacNTFS-3G and install both. After that you may have to restart your Mac but you should be okay with using Disk Utility to dismount and mount the Boot Camp partition.

Quote: “External hard drive enclosures are very common these days, especially with large file sizes of HD movies and other content. A single-drive external hard drive enclosure works for most people, but people who want to protect their data and want faster speeds opt for a dual hard drive enclosure with RAID capabilities. Today we will be looking at one such enclosure from ICY DOCK called the MB662US-2S, which features RAID 0, RAID 1, BIG, and JBOD configurations. Let’s see if this is the perfect external enclosure for you.”
Radeons HD 5770: A Hawk Versus Arctic Ice

“The Radeon HD 5770 is currently praised as a very good choice in the upper middle class of GPUs, since it provides very good performance in resolutions typical for 20” and 22” monitors at a decent price, which is likely to become the optimal choice for gamers today. We rejoiced to see so many manufacturers coming out with their own models so fast, shunning the referent ATI design in order to create a bit pricier, but faster graphics card to start with, a gain which can be increased even further by overclocking, courtesy of high-quality cooling systems implemented by various manufacturers. We’ve received two very interesting models whose overclock range took us by surprise, both cards sporting great looks and an attractive accompanying bundle…”
Summary:
The best feature of these cards is their price

ATI Catalyst 10.3a Driver Performance Benchmarking

“After spending less than a day with the ATI Catalyst 10.3a drivers, it appears that they bring better performance to the majority of PC game titles that we tried them on. The only game title that we didn’t see a performance improvement on was Batman: Arkham Asylum, but the performance hit wasn’t even significant. In the other games that we benchmarked we got a small boost in performance, with the best performance gain seen coming from Tom Clancy’s Hawx. Having a 19% performance gain in a game title from a driver update is amazing and something great to see. Speaking of sight, we also didn’t notice any image quality differences, so it looks like ATI isn’t cheating on the image quality to get better performance…”
