Noctua NH-C12P SE14 CPU Cooler

QUOTE: “Noctua is a company that I have really come to love over the past year. Chris Ram tried explaining it to me when I started here, but at that time I couldnt fully wrap my head around what he was trying to tell me. Time progressed and I got some firsthand experience with the company and as time passed by I was starting to get what Chris was trying to tell me for so long ago. After reviewing a couple of coolers, especially the NH-D14 that arrived at the end of last month, I was sold.
This time we are taking a look at a revised classic from Noctua. The NH-C12P main body has been around for some time already. Noctua has just released a new 140mm fan that produces great results and worked well in the NH-D14, and decided to revamp an old champion from their lineup. Mating the new NF-P14 with the older NH-C12P just seems like a logical conclusion to make. Since the 140mm fan uses 120mm fan mounting, nothing needs modded on the cooler to accomplish the new creation.”

“Bookworms, this is your year. In case Amazon’s Kindle, Sony’s Readers and Barnes & Noble’s Nook didn’t quite catch your fancy this past holiday season, CES 2010 brought an onslaught of new e-book products to fill, well, a small library. From ultra-thin, large-screen readers meant to replace magazines and newspapers, to those tagged with full color LCDs for browsing blogs when Jane Austen gets a little dull (that’s five pages into Emma, by the way), the category marches forward with more content, features and flexibility than ever before. Here are five of the hottest e-readers that will define the portable reading space in 2010.”

LanCool Dragon Lord PC-K58W Computer Case

LanCool’s line of Dragon Lord computer cases offer two great advantages over many competitors. The first is the amount of customization they provide in choosing a stock model. Rather than simply providing one high end case and one low end case they provide options for several intermediate levels. The second advantage offered by LanCool is their tool-less designs. Many tool-less designs of the past have suffered from compatibility or usability problems. LanCool uses a fresh approach to alleviate the problems of the past while still providing the option to fall back on conventional installation. Benchmark Reviews recently reviewed the PC-K56W which offers snap-in hard drive assemblies. We now bring you the PC-K58W which extends the tool-less design, offers more space, more features, and more room to upgrade.

Mionix Naos 5000 Review – XSReviews

Quote: “With Mionix’s previous headline mouse, the Mionix Saiph 3200, dropping in price to a much more attractive level around the £35 mark, the way has been paved for a new entry to the high end of Mionix’s gaming peripheral range.
In keeping with Mionix’s cosmology theme, the Naos 5000 takes its named from a blue super giant star with the 5000 referring to the maximum dpi – 5040. Essentially, the Naos is a step up from the Saiph keeping the majority of the latter’s features whilst adding and improving a few extra: 128kB in-built memory and an adjustable polling rate to name but a couple.
Aimed at the high end gaming market, the Naos clocks in at a hefty £70. It’s got all the gizmos expected of a gaming mouse but at double the cost of its predecessor and many other mice, can the price tag be justified?“

“Call us practical, jaded or simply a good, old-fashioned stick in the mud, but when it comes to consumers upgrading to 3D television anytime soon, we just don’t see the point. Much ado has been made about this new technology at CES 2010 by manufacturers such as LG, Sony, Samsung, Toshiba and Panasonic, with one in four consumers surveyed by the CEA saying they plan to buy a 3D TV within the next three years. However, while ESPN plans to roll the first official 3D sports network on June 11, and consumers are predicted to spend $17 billion on 3D TVs in 2018, per research firm DisplaySearch’s forecasts, we’re just not sold on the concept’s potential rapid consumer uptake.”
