Features Seven-Inch HD Clear Photo LCD Display, Slideshow Playback Mode, Auto Orientation Sensor

Sony Gulf FZE today unveiled a classy limited edition digital photo frame (DPF-D72N) embedded with CRYSTALLIZED™ – Swarovski Elements, featuring timeless design and craftsmanship.

Boasting loosely cut Swarovski crystals encrusted on the sides of the seven-inch frame, the design accents any space and allows users to share their favourite pictures in vibrant colours and crisp detail. With a 1GB storage capacity and an Auto Compression adjustment, it can hold up to 1000 images of precious moments.
A built-in Auto Orientation sensor automatically detects the horizontal or vertical position of the unit and accordingly adjusts the photos to portrait or landscape formats. The versatile frame can also be mounted on a wall, adding a touch of sparkle to any room.

The Digital Photo Frame is an enchanting household accessory, combining an impressive 16:10 viewing ratio with WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels). In standby mode, it displays the clock and calendar in up to 14 stylish designs, enabling users to benefit from its practical features while being an essential part of the home décor.

The frame has a wide range of viewing modes, such as the Slideshow Playback that can display photos with 10 built-in transition modes to suit individual moods and preferences, while multiple playback options offer the flexibility to display photos as single images or as thumbnails for easy searching. Picture Colour tones including sepia, monochrome, or full colour can be selected through a special feature to achieve the desired effect in slideshows.

Integrating several editing features such as photo cropping, zoom and rotation, the Digital Photo Frame allows the resizing of stored images to suit various preferences.
The Digital Photo Frame also incorporates an Automatic Power On/Off switch for daily pre-set times, offering greater cost and energy savings, while the remote control allows easy navigation without having to leave the comfort of the couch.
An added benefit with the DPF-D72N is its support for an array of memory card formats including the Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo, Secure Digital (SD) card, Compact Flash Type I and Type II, and xD-Picture Card. It also supports the Plug-and-Play system for effortless transfer of images via a direct USB input from most digital cameras and computers without installing any additional software.
