Not a Robot it is a guy in a suit you can see his arms in the tubes and the miror on the front is so he can see out of the suit.
Have to agree with Jaynap. The suit is nice but that’s not a robot.
and?
I’m not sure if it’s a real robot or not, but one thing’s for sure; it will haunt my nightmares for some time to come.
It’s a guy in a suit.

One thing is sure, I’m always going to wish I could get the nine minutes of my life back that I wasted watching that video.

You’d be amazed at the technology of tomarrow that is around today
O and how the heck is the automated robot going to run alone… if its fake…
Thanks gawd it is not real! Otherwise knowing something like that really already exist would have haunted my dreams… brrr! Fortunately instead it could be considered more similar to a PowerArmor suit, ie the exact thing the human race will desperately need to fight against something like 8 feet robots, if and when they will become a real thing.
Ehm, end scene of the last episode of Battlestar Galactica anyone?
I’m not sure why people think this is such a big deal….. you can buy miniature versions of these things at Toy’s R Us for under $100. I don’t see the technological wonder in just making a large toy with a set routine. The thing isn’t particularly agile or interactive. If I had to sum it up, I would say….. BFD
Here is what I found.
Titan the Robot is the stage name of any one of a number of human dancers who perform dressed in an android costume[1][2] created by Cyberstein Robots Ltd in 2004.[3]
The costume is approximately 2.2 metres (7′ 3″) tall and 47 kg (7.5 st)[1] and increases to 350 kg (55 st)[1] including the performer and onboard equipment. It was designed by Nik Fielding, who runs Cyberstein from Torquay, Devon, England.[2] Titan has performed at a variety of public and private events, from the Commonwealth Games and Alton Towers to bar Mitzvahs[1] and shopping centres.[4] Titan has appeared on Channel 4 television and BBC Children In Need.[3] When asked by The Times what skills potential performers would require, Nik Fielding replied “They’d need to be good at playing Xbox because that’s what it’s like in there.”[2]
In performance, Titan moves about freely in an open area and uses music and comedy to interact with spectators. Shows last for about 30 minutes and can be mixed with a walkabout.[4]
It’s defo a robot! I saw it in town the other week! It’s not run on its own… durh! There is a man on a trolley who controls it and plays the sounds through his box…. It’s amazing and I can assure you it is definately a robot. The guy said its about 1.5 million pound! Don’t mock technology!!!
i agree with some it is a 1.5 million pound robot, i seen it a minehead, and he is ontolled by a man who has the controlos and sound machine at the back of the trolley he is transpoted on,
Great article, thanks for sharing and I’ve boomarked this page.
I saw Titan at the Hollowell Steam Fair last sunday and he scared the life out of me !!! I hadnt heard of him before so i hadnt a clue what or who he was !! Great fun though
