Conclusion

The OCZ 6GB DDR3 PC3-12800 Platinum Low-Voltage Triple Channel kit is an impressive product that offers great features and specifications. This includes its ability to handle CL 7 clocks at 1.65v which is pretty impressive. The memory never ran warm during testing either and this is no doubt thanks to the XTC heatsinks.

On the performance front the OCZ kit superseded our expectations. Without going over the 1.65v mark we managed to push the memory to a stable speed of 1800MHz with timings of 9-8-8-25. That said the increase in frequency wasn’t very noticeable in everyday use.

The OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Platinum Low-Voltage Triple Channel kit is covered by a lifetime warranty, so as long as you’re running at standard speed, you won’t have to worry if either or all of the modules fail.

The OCZ kit sells online at a price of US $139.99 and is available locally for 800 -/AED.
