Although the OCZ and Imation perform pretty close to each other in some tests, the OCZ manages to be the clear winner here. None of these drives can be compared to the Intel X25-M which destroys both of them in Vista startup and Application loading times. However, compared to your traditional 7200 RPM drives, these SSDs prove to be almost twice as fast.

Between the OCZ Apex and Imation M-Class, the benchmarks tend to favor the OCZ Apex. The Apex is priced roughly around 1200 Dirhams while the Imation seems to be running close to 2000 Dirhams. That really doesn’t give us much room on which drive to recommend. The Intel X25-M, why incredibly fast, is also more expensive and lower in capacity that the OCZ Apex making it a decent SSD for its price.
