HP Premium Line Consumer Displays: HP 2309m and HP 2159m
Offering a 23-inch and 21-inch widescreen display, respectively, the new HP 2309m and HP 2159m monitors provide the most meaningful technology for demanding consumers seeking the ultimate in full high-definition viewing. With their 16:9 aspect ratio display, the HP 2309m and HP 2159m optimise a full HD experience in the most ideal format for watching multimedia content. Photos and videos are displayed faithfully, with zero distortion, thanks to the removal of the black ‘letterbox’ bars. This ensures that the integrity of the original content remains, pixel for pixel.

These high-end monitors both incorporate a seamless, slim design that matches the classic style and elegance of HP’s new desktop solutions. Users are assured superior screen clarity, thanks to HP’s exclusive BrightView Technology, which improves the display’s contrast and crispness so colours are brighter and images more lifelike. At the same time, HP Power Sound ensures equally powerful audio enjoyment.

For the complete visual experience, the HP 2309m and 2159m also feature advanced digital connectivity, rapid response times, superior dynamic contrast ratio and HP Quick View modes for movies, photos and games.
In addition, an HP Helium stand provides users with an advanced and intelligent design of the monitor stand. In particular, the HP Helium stand offers a simple yet ingenious means for optimising cable management. Further benefits are afforded by a tilt and swivel mechanism which enables users to adjust viewing angles for improved comfort, privacy or sharing – without sacrificing picture quality. Both the HP 2309m and 2159m offer enhanced connectivity options thanks to VGA (mini D-sub) DVI-D & HDMI (HDCP) connections and included DVI cable.

The new HP 2309m and HP 2159m follow HP’s recently announced 24-inch w2448hc and 25.5-inch w2558h high-performance Vivid Colour widescreen displays. Featuring 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, both the HP w2448hc and HP w2558h boast many of the same attributes as HP’s latest Premium Line additions, as well as offering additional features that include integrated webcam and multiple USB ports. The HP w2558h also incorporates a built-in 15-in-1 digital media card reader which enables users to watch slide shows and videos when the PC is off, while doubling as a PC Card reader when the PC is on.
