The story involves the billionaire Eric Packer (Pattinson) going out for a haircut in his limo while dealing with the conseqeunces of his personal and professional decisions in life on the way. The actress in the picture is Sarah Gadon and the film also stars Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, Samantha Morton and Mathieu Almaric.

The movie is based on a novel and might just be entirely set inside this limo so that sounds like a lot of fun, and plus Pattinson is raving about the script and how it doesn’t cater to the PG-13 audience. That, along with the fact that Cronenberg always brings something highly interesting to the table, consider me very interested.

Deadline reports that Robert Pattinson will replace Farrell as the lead in the film, since Farrell has decided to star in the remake of ‘Total Recall’ instead. The story will revolve around a financial whiz and takes place almost entirely inside a limo as he is transported across the city during the course of the day. Marion Cotillard and Paul Giamatti are also attached.

Out of all the ‘Twilight’ cast members, Robert Pattinson is a guy I’ve grown to love as he always decides to go against the most mainstream choices offered to him and work out of his norm. His upcoming ‘Water for Elephants’ is one example and working with Cronenberg is a great outlet for him to prove how serious he is since Twilight is coming to an end soon enough (hopefully).

Robert Pattinson will play a young man who has a brother that has committed suicide,and it caused his parents ( played by Pierce Brosnan and Lena Olin) to split up. This has caused Pattinson’s character to sort of sleepwalk through life. De Ravin is going to play a young woman who seizes life to it’s fullest after seeing her mother get killed right before her eyes. The newfound relationship of these two is threatened as they try to cope with their respective family tragedies.

The trailer was further proof of the movie not just being another Pattinson star vehicle and dare I say, he acted great in it. I’ve heard great things about the script so let’s hope this one doesn’t disappoint.

I have to say that I can clearly see some acting chops in Pattinson just in this trailer itself and this movie might prove that he’s to be taken more seriously than a teen hearthrob. However, a couple of shots look almost indistinguishable from the Twilight movies which might put the movie in an identity crisis later on.

The script is told to be much darker material than his previous efforts and features a mind-blowing twist ending. However, Summit opted to change the ending for the film recently, which doesn’t look so good considering they might be trying to tone it down for the tweens once again, which may be a disastrous idea.
