Bollywood composer A.R. Rahman, who won an Oscar for his work on Slumdog Millionaire will be working on a score for a Hollywood movie starring Vince Vaughn.
According to the Reuters news agency:
Composer and musician A.R. Rahman, who picked up two Oscars for his work on “Slumdog Millionaire,” is working on his first score for an American film.
Rahman will compose the score for the Universal Pictures comedy “Couples Retreat.”
Directed by Peter Billingsley, the movie stars Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau, Malin Akerman, Kristin Davis, Kristen Bell and Faizon Love. It’s based on a story idea of Vaughn’s about four Midwestern couples who embark on a journey to a tropical island resort.
