The next time someone tells you they’re ending a franchise, don’t believe them. Warner Bros. titled ‘Final Destination 4′ as ‘The Final Destination’ solely on the fact that it was meant to be the last (also turned out to be the worst) film in the series. But that film earned more than any other in the series, hence all previous announcements will be disregarded and another film is being prepared.

Warner Bros head Alan Horn said at ShoWest Festival that a ‘Final Destination 5′ is in order. That’s pretty much all we know about the project. No actor, director, or script is present at the time. But it puts them in an interesting situation: the title of this film. Will they call ‘Final Destination 5′ and let people figure out when 4 came? Or will they call it ‘The Final Destination 2′ and make it even worse than it already is? Or maybe ‘The Final Destination, Finally’?
Your guess is as good as mine.
