Remember when Dwayne Johnson used to kick ass? On WWE as well as roles in movies like ‘The Rundown’? Before he went kindergarten on us and grew wings and babysat kids? Looks like he’s returning for good. His upcoming action film ‘Faster’, by the looks of this production photo thanks to USA Today, looks freakin’ bad-ass.
A buffed up, bald and tattooed Johnson playing an angry convict? Count me in. Here is the plot of the film:
Johnson will play an ex-con bent on avenging the death of his brother, murdered 10 years earlier when the two were double-crossed during a heist.
A perfect role for a once-hailed action star that surprisingly took a different turn in his career. Also announced was Jason Statham cast in the upcoming ‘Tooth Fairy 2: The Teething’.
That last part was untrue. Or at least I think it was.
